I always hate trade committees, but it's even worse when they don't do their job properly.
Some trades are ridiculous and destroy a league - they must be vetoed.
Other trades, there are always a winner and a loser at first sight. That's how NBA works. If there were such a TC in the NBA no trade would go through...
Anyway, I'm out.

Yeah it's ridiculous. Absolutely NO reason that should have been vetoed. It's really just them being power hungry; that, or TC really IS that clueless. Pick your poison.
The trade was good for both sides. Heat says that trading Jennings is like trading Rose -- seriously??? Rose was MVP, and Jennings has never even been an All-Star. You can't reject a trade just because YOU would't do it.
Bledsoe and Beal combine for 24.8/7.3/6. Jennings is averaging 19.5/4/7.7. I wouldn't want to re-sign him for huge money either. Say he bolts Washington at the end of the season -- who wins the trade now?
(All this ignoring that Vesely and Mullens are both solid prospects, too.)
Sorry to see you go.

I agree trade should not have been vetoed. Bucks would have had bledsoe beal vessley sanders henson as a young core with this. Even if you look at it like a salary dump so as not to have to pay jennings. Still a good deal

Sorry to see you go. agreed with this when you factor in Jennings being top 10 in TO's per game. That Assist/TO is pretty bad imo. though Jennings is a RFA, so the Bucks could match, still you have to consider the impact giving Jennings a max contract does, Jennings gets the max or near max and your stuck with 15-22 for 6/7 years, that means Bucks have 32-34 million in cap in 2014 instead of 49 million. While that may not seem like much anything to save 15 million in this league will go a long way, especially if you aren't a playoff team. And that's an extra 15-17 million you could spend on a player(s) that deserves that money. And it's not like the Wizards just built a dynasty with this deal, they're still a ways away from being a top team, I like what the Wizards have been doing and I do like the deal for them though. But they still have some work to do. To break this down I think a trade should only be vetoed if it violates 1 of the following 1)Obvious cheating 2)GM has absolutely no idea what they are doing 3)Someone's drunk saw someone's name that sounds funny and they agreed to the deal 4)Team is an obvious dynasty because of the deal and the GM rushed into moving a player None of what the Bucks-Wizards did triggered any of this, so imo it shouldn't have been vetoed, bad trades happen sometimes, get over it.
